Assassin's Creed Shadows is set during the Sengoku period in Japan. This era of unrest and civil war gave rise to two heros. Naoe is a shinobi assassin who uses stealth and a hidden blade to accomplish missions. Yasuke chooses a more hands-on, brutal approach of a trained samurai. You can pick who you play as for different quests. Although their approaches to combat are poles apart, their destiny is intertwined. And it will shape the future of Japan.
